Ramin Sarraf is currently an Assistant Professor at the National University, in California. He holds a Ph.D. in Linguistics and Persian Studies from the University of Texas at Austin. His areas of research and teaching include: Persian Language, Culture and History, Linguistics, Online Education, Curriculum Design, Curriculum Developing, Lexicography, Phonetics/Phonology, Testing, Textbook Developing. He has published, “A Glossary of Bio-Technology, English-Persian/Persian-English. with Bahram Aryan: Dunwoody Press, Springfield, Virginia, 2006,” “Kanizu, with Azita Mokhtari et al. Mazda Publishers Inc. Costa Mesa, California, 2004,” and “Persian Newspaper Reader, Second Edition. With M. C. Hillmann: Dunwoody Press, Springfield,Virginia, 2000.” For both 2009 and 2010, Ramin Sarraf was co-awardee for two Startalk grants for Persian Student Program at National University.
